Hey guys, as you can tell from my post count, I'm a brand newbie.. I have come from the Just Commodores website, anyhow, my car.
It's a 1985 VK Berlina, bought it in awesome condition apart from one or two flaws. It had done 93,000kms (original) and was obviously owned by a respectable person. The original Eurovox tape deck was still in it, and was standard stock condition.

I'm not a person to completely do up a car and thrash it to it's death and misery, so the only mods I've done are the following.

Kenwood KDC - 1023s CD Unit (200W)
Fly 120W 3-way 6" Speakers (rear shelf)
AutoTechnica Sports Steering Wheel
NOS Seat Covers
New Radiator (still stock standard)

Upcomming Mods:

Clarion 600W Dual Voice Coil Subwoofer (in box)
Clasion 200W 2 Ch. Amplifier
Brock/Group A Grille

I'm really proud of my car, and won't be selling it anytime soon

Hope you guys see more of me ;)

Nice looking and clean VK

If I may make a suggestion though, perhaps get some rims for it, and then lower it. It will update the look of the car and make it look like a million bucks :)

Keep up the good work :)

I like how someone has taken the red paint off th inlet manifold, there would have been too much red under the bonnet and it makes it stand out more. Nice first car, a manual box makes the motor go a lot better.

I really must apologise for my inactivity.. studying and working a lot lately.. good thing though

I do have plans for the appearance of the car. not going to adjust the height of the car I don't think, I want a set of Walkinshaw mags for it (don't see too many VK's with walker rims). I'm getting a hold of a Brocky grill, when the muffler dies (already a nice hole) I'm installing a 2.5" exhaust for a little bit of grunt, and maybe a metallic paint job.

I must say though, as much as I credit the prev. owners for a stunning car, the damn guy who owned it before us had to do a paint job on the bonnet/roof, while waiting to pick the car up, he did a rush job cut/polishing and now thier's unremovable swirl marks on the bonnet

Apart from that, the front bar is cracked, the rear bar needs replacing, small dints in the doors, but im happy as a pig in poop - car goes hard, and it's a beauty to drive. If you ever want to hit me up, im always on MSN. hsv_guy01@hotmail.com
