The Goulburn Valley Car Club will be holding a fundraising day in Shepparton on New Years Eve. It will be held at DECA on Wanganui Rd. All proceeds from the day will be going to the volunteer fire fighters who have put their asses on the line for all of us during the last couple of months & got nothing in return.

A quick outline of the day is as follows...
* gates open at 9:30am - 5pm
* events include driving events, motorkana, demo's, show n shine plus much more.
* there will be a raffle running all day with numerous prizes up for grabs
* food & drinks available

Cost it $30 per antrant for driving events, $5 if you only want to go in the show n shine & $5 for every other spectator. Children under 12 free.

All enquires ph Steve on: 0409 869 972

Please note... Every car must have full & current registration & if participating in the driving events the vehicle must be safe & rwc (secured battery, seatbelts etc...) & although everyone is encouraged to get out there and have a go the rules are very strict. Be a dickhead and your out of there.

See you's all there!

Anyone is welcome & is open to any car. It doesn't matter if you have a daily driver or a fully blown hotrod the day is a fun day to raise money.

If anyone doesn't know the location it is where the spring nats are held each year.

See you's all there!

as long as you have a full licenced passenger with you

Ok everything is up and its all going ahead.

Gates open at 9:30am there will be an unloading area to your left as you drive in for people towing there cars. The main show n shine area will be the stretch of road up the right side of the skidpan and back towards the centre.

There will be about 6 different types of driving events happening on the pad during the day which will go for approx 1 hour each (depending on hour many cars turn up) and between these events is the free time where everyone gets to take their car out there and do what they want for 40secs. Within reason of course. Any dangerous/reckless activity will not be tolerated, no static burnouts, no popping of tyres on the pad. Just have abit of common sense and take in the fact that there will be spectators standing around.

Strictly an alcohol free event, anyone caught drinking will be told to get rid of it and if they dont will be told to leave.

Other than that we hope it turns out to be a really good day.

Seey you's there

Please refrain from posting shit-stirring comments. There is already a different thread for that.

Keep it ON topic.

The GVCC are holding another one of these events in mid April. This one will be alot bigger with alot more cars/spectators expected to turn up. Same goes as before any cars welcome so long as they are in a safe condition. Will post up more details about it soon.
