i had another brain wave the other day. (which i know may not be good....LOL)

why dont we get in contact with a ford forum and have a holden/ford cruise somewhere...
make it a big park or parking lot and sit the cars facing oposite each other like a stand off and make a big day of it.

or do a holden ford dyno day and see who gets best results.

something along the lines of holden and ford so we can prove that we are the best.

just a thought. i dont hav any intention of organising anything untill after CFC seeing as there are a few events between now and then anyways.

yeah all aussie cruise. make sure its commodores/falcons. looking at the street fords website their forum has all sorts of fords which is crap. we have just commodores.
and it would be different to a holden vs ford day. this would b a whole group of guys turning up to a park after cruising from homebush.

I am a member of a Muscle Car Club where we cruise all together with Fords, Chryslers, Holdens & a few other unique marques, and we all respect the other makes. It's good to hang out with a wider bunch of people and not just commodores.

definatly need lots of cars. and we need a huge area to show it. will need like a footy field or showground or sumthing like that. be a good event if we can get it going. just a thought i hadf the othernight. wasnt sure how any1 else would feel about it.

yeah make it commodore/falcon and mayb do it for charity (not stealing the idea of the CFC but just coz charity alwasy seems to bring the best out in people and will attract a few more ppl. ill think abuot it for later in the year after CFC (after my HSC) so in october before the Christmas cruise is on.

seeing as there is so much on my plate atm.
i really wanna do it so if you can wait it out till later in the year that would be good.

i will organise it after HSC when i have nothing to worry about coz assessments are being thrown at me every few weeks plus all the homework so its tuff atm.

I went to the Butterfly farm cruise to Windsor a while back. There was a heap of Fords already there when we lobbed . Turned out a great day all round.

Can we let some 33 & 34 hotrods come TOO.

totally up to the people. i dunno bout it. id rather falcon commodores because it would limit it. if we allow hot rod fords then we hav to let older holdens which is no problem but that will just turn into another car show i think. thats my way of looking at it

id say go falcons from XD onwards coz if you go earleir then that then u have to let kingswoods in.
have the cruise to a park and have a show and shine section with a representative form every year if possible of both cars.
but as i said keep it till after i finish the HSC so i can organise it properly do all the right things and get a huge turn out.

will organise it soonish. ive got the HSC timetable so i know when my exams finish but need to find out exact dates for the piss up up the coast with the boys.

ok disregard the last post. ideas have changed...will organise it for before HSC coz im going away with the boys and i cant be organising it during HSC and if we do it after the hsc that would basically make it december.

so if late August/ early september is ok with everyone that would be awsum...

the idea for end point would be fagen park at hornsby...(im getting in contact with hornsby council tomorrow to see if its ok as its their land)...

will be cruise via berowra waters which means punt if everyone is ok with that. it also means lots of cut back which are fun. if thats not ok there is another way.

there will be a show and shine which means some sort of sponsorship will probably be needed for prizes. and will try and get a car from every year if possible. if not next best thing is every model.

considering there to be a slight cost involved. entry to the park (council) and a small donation to a charity if everyone agrees with that.

let me know what you all think. and when things are getting sorted ill put up a proper thread to organise it...and do the same on other forums and ford forums across NSW.

date i was looking was the 26th of august however the park is hosting a vintage bike show. so new date im inquiring about is the 2nd of september.

the date of the 2nd of september is available. i will be lodging the application in tomorrow.

i have been told that they will open up an overflow carpark especially for us so thats cool. will try to work out numbers and then costs.

the only problem is there is a coin operated boom gate to enter the park that costs $4.

i think the easiest way to work it is:

-everyone joins the cruise
-everyone enters the park ($4 at the gate to open the boom)
-everyone parks (donation for Leukemia Foundation around $5 or more but really what u can give)
-everyone can be judged in the show




prizes given out at the end of the day.

for prizes i rekon:

-best sedan, wagon, ute one each for holden/ford
-best overall commodore cant win any other prize
-best overall falcon cant win any other prize

-BEST OVERALL (best car either make any model) cant win any other prize

i had all intnetion of goign through with it but the school load has pilled up and wasnt really getting as much intrest as i hopped.
if we just want a cruise im sure that could be done no problems but i was heading it in a direction that would include a cruise with a show with prizes and sponsers i just dont have enuf time so it sorry for wanting to do well in my HSC

i really did want to do it but just to much atm. i think i leave it to CFC and the Xmas cruise this year (maybe a bday cruise on a friday night)
next year ill do it and do it properly to coinside with a round of the V8s in sydney and ill do it properly and as big as i can.
