Hey,

*MORE PICS ON PAGE 2 & 3*

This is my best mates car, Engineered and registered in November 2007. It has been off the road for about 4.5yrs and has been completely restored, Everything on the vehicle was done at home, everything from putting the engine in to making little custom chrome accesories, except the respray.

Thanks guys :)

After it gets some rims it may be a feature car you will have to wait and see :p
He's not sure on rims at the moment he is still looking around, he has his eye on some billets though.
Rims are probally the hardest choice, they either make the car look awesome or shithouse heh.. ;)

Looking really good.

Were you out at Harry's the other night? My brother-in-law (a 60s chev fanatic - he owns a '62) was raving about a hothouse green early commodore that stopped him in his tracks, and that's a hard thing to do!

Yes, he did very well to grab all that attention - it was well deserved though, and a few more people I know have spoken to me this week and asked if I know it - it's made a big impact already!
hey commodore nut,wat colour is his 62? hope u dont mind me askin:)

Fantasic early girl, love the minor detail bits and pieces - which is what I think sets this car apart from the rest, the detailing on the door trims, the centre console and the rear seat, all so very tasteful and original - even better still its a DIY project, good stuff!

Fark that is slick. Is the car on bumpstops at rear because that is low?

Yeah the bags are fully deflated in some of the photos and it would be sitting on the bumpstops. Im pretty sure he had to make the bumpstops a little higher also cause it was hitting on something but not 100% sure.

Cause once its been in say SM, and hasn't change, SC policy is that once in one mag, thats it. But if there is enough changes, SC might shoot it.

The new billet rims look great on it. The car looks tops. Now i have got to pull my finger out and do my cars up!. Look out fella's (and ladies), the VB-VK early girls are coming back!

The last 3 pics posted is as low as it goes, it can still be driven and turned full lock when its slammed without scrubbing, to go lower we would need to remove the bumpstops but then you have problems with the diff hitting.

WOW I can't believe I have never seen this!
Got to be one of the best getting around for sure.

Awesome car. Love the paint and the interior... and I'm normally not a fan of the oldies... really done well with the combo on this one.

Just brilliant!

They are billets wheels by Intro Wheels USA (XLR Series Rally), they have a big range at www.showwheels.com.au which is the Australian distributer, be prepared to spend some money though.

Thanks for the comments guys! :D
